{"id":10878,"date":"2020-05-06T13:44:19","date_gmt":"2020-05-06T19:44:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nhfc.mx\/?p=10878"},"modified":"2021-08-06T23:29:16","modified_gmt":"2021-08-06T23:29:16","slug":"sindrome-de-hiperestimulacion-ovarica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/getreall.clicksend.com.mx\/hopeivf\/sindrome-de-hiperestimulacion-ovarica\/","title":{"rendered":"S\u00edndrome de hiperestimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica: \u00bfqu\u00e9 es y c\u00f3mo podemos evitarlo?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Se estima que este cuadro se presenta en un 3-8% de las mujeres que se someten a tratamientos de Fertilizaci\u00f3n in Vitro.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cuando una pareja opta por un <b>tratamiento de reproducci\u00f3n asistida<\/b> como la <b>Fertilizaci\u00f3n in Vitro<\/b>, uno de los primeros pasos es la estimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica en la mujer. Mediante pastillas e inyecciones, se busca <b>crecer los fol\u00edculos de los ovarios<\/b>, con el objetivo de poder capturar los \u00f3vulos maduros para realizar la fecundaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Durante este paso es cuando se puede presentar una <b>hiperestimulaci\u00f3n de los ovarios<\/b>, dando como resultado el <b>S\u00edndrome de Hiperestimulaci\u00f3n Ov\u00e1rica<\/b> (tambi\u00e9n conocido como <b>SHO<\/b>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Las mujeres que padecen este cuadro tiene una gran cantidad de fol\u00edculos creciendo, lo cual puede presentar algunos s\u00edntomas inc\u00f3modos. Cabe mencionar que este s\u00edndrome se considera una <b>respuesta anormal<\/b> a la estimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica, y es que <b>los casos de SHO graves solo se presentan en un 0.5-2%<\/b> de los ciclos de Fertilizaci\u00f3n in Vitro.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los s\u00edntomas de la hiperestimulaci\u00f3n ov\u00e1rica?&nbsp;<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Los s\u00edntomas comienzan, aproximadamente, entre <b>2 y 17 d\u00edas despu\u00e9s de la administraci\u00f3n hormonal<\/b>. Es importante mencionar que no todas las mujeres que padecen SHO presentan todos estos s\u00edntomas:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Distensi\u00f3n abdominal<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">N\u00e1useas y v\u00f3mito<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diarrea&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquidos&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dificultad para respirar<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aumento de peso<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entumecimiento de diferentes zonas del cuerpo&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son las causas del SHO?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Se desconoce una causa puntual para el SHO; sin embargo,se han identificado factores de riesgo que podr\u00edan aumentar las posibilidades de padecer este cuadro:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tener menos de 30 a\u00f1os<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ser muy delgada<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tener S\u00edndrome de Ovario Poliqu\u00edstico&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tener un \u00edndice alto de estr\u00f3geno<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se trata el S\u00edndrome de Hiperestimulaci\u00f3n Ov\u00e1rica?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Si el caso de SHO es leve, <b>este realmente no necesita tratamiento<\/b>. Lo recomendable es reposar, caminar, tomar mucha agua, evitar el alcohol, comer saludable y, en caso de sentir molestias, tomar paracetamol.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Para los casos m\u00e1s graves, ser\u00e1 necesario asistir al hospital para que <b>especialistas puedan extraer el l\u00edquido acumulado<\/b>. Despu\u00e9s se realizar\u00e1n ecograf\u00edas y an\u00e1lisis sangu\u00edneos para monitorear la salud de la paciente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se puede prevenir el SHO?&nbsp;<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Estudios demuestran que, al tratarse de un padecimiento anormal, <b>realmente no se puede prevenir ni predecir<\/b>.
